We arrived at Flagstaff yesterday to be met by a cool alpine breeze and gorgeous fir trees. After walking around historic Williams in the afternoon, we hit the Flagstaff music scene with fellow couch surfer Ken. Flagstaff is so relaxed and we are already feeling like we dont want to leave. Tony is asleep on a day bed and I am writing on the porch watching the sun set... doen’t get any better than this!.We got back from our night out in Flagstaff, which was very cool. Saw a bit of live music, ate in an American Diner and hung out with Ken, a music major from Memphis. Ken serenaded us with his trumpet this morning and we all sat up talking and laughing with host Lynn, who is the ultimate Earth Goddess. Bec fell in love with her home which is surrounded by petrified wood, crystals and good karma. We’re off to “stand on a corner in Winslow Arizona” tomorrow and visit New Mexico.
